Powerpoints from lessons on Queen's 'Killer Queen':
When annotating your score - make sure you include a key at the top of the first page to tell you what each colour means:
BLACK = Structure
BLUE = Tonality/Harmony
GREEN = Melody
RED = Texture
PURPLE = Compositional Techniques
ORANGE = other
There may be some information (like the performers names) that is on your sheet that is not included on this annotation - it would benefit you to look through the sheet after you've finished annotating to add anything missing.
DON'T FORGET TO LISTEN TO THE TRACK AFTERWARDS - AND FOLLOW THROUGH THE SCORE SO YOU CAN HEAR THE THINGS YOU'VE WRITTEN ABOUT! A link can be found to it on youtube in the video bar.
