All students are required to submit two compositions for
final assessment. Together they should last between two to four minutes. These
compositions must be based on two different Areas of Study.
We will explore a variety of compositions throughout year
10, and aim to have one composition completed by the end of the year, leaving
the second and refining of the first for year 11.
It is intended that studies in composition be
integrated with listening and appraising principally through the study of the
prescribed Areas of Study.
